    The U.K.’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) looked back over the past year to reveal the top six government email impersonation scams that were taken down.  The imitated organizations include the National Health Service, HMRC, TV Licensing, Gov.uk, Ofgem and the DVLA.  The NCSC received more than 6.4 million reports of potential scams in 2022 and took down 67,300 fraudulent URLs   It can happen to you too, protect yourself by using known online traders and never click on any links to a product sent to you in an email.  Always use two factor authentication where possible and only pay for goods and services with platforms like PayPal or secure credit card transactions   Top Impersonation Scams in the UK in 2022

As a reminder, Windows 8.1 will reach end of support on January 10, 2023, at which point technical assistance and software updates will no longer be provided. If you have devices running Windows 8.1, we recommend upgrading them to a more current, in-service, and supported Windows release. If devices do not meet the technical requirements to run a more current release of Windows, we recommend that you replace the device with one that supports Windows 11.       Microsoft will not be offering an Extended Security Update (ESU) program for Windows 8.1.
